Images shown of our attempts to capture the "tail end" of the transit of Venus across the face of the Sun. Most of the event took place below the dawn horizon and seeing between the apartment hi-rises and through the atmosphere to the ocean, made this rather challenging to get the images.

Venus's transit is a rare event. It will occur again in 2012, but then it won't happen again for 122 years!
